Rugrats is about feminist families
erikawithac: Mrs. Pickles is the educated breadwinner, Stu often chasing his less profitable dreams Phil & Lil’s mom, obvs (short hair, female symbol sweatshirt, clear second waver Charlotte, ballbusting CEO who wants Angelica to have an edge in a male-privileged world Suzie’s family, upper-middle class black family with a really accomplished mom Chaz, sensitive single dad who childrears...

The Guardian - Sky sexism was no surprise but... →
“The attitude of Richard Keys and Andy Gray towards the lineswoman Sian Massey shows how deeply entrenched – and how casual – sexism is in football” Well Andy Gray’s just been sacked, and I’m sure Richard Keys isn’t far behind. The issue shouldn’t be that it’s sexism in sports - just that it’s sexism full stop, and it has no place in society...

inthecrystallake: This The Wake’s album situates itself in the middle of band’s transition from post-punk to indie-pop. Any similarity of Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky cover with this one is a mere coincidence (or not) 01-Gruesome Castle 02-Pale Spectre 03-Furious Sea 04-Plastic Flowers

Her landlord was named & shamed after he was arrested for her murder - but he was bailed without charge AFTER his name, picture, personal life etc. were splashed around the tabloids. Then yesterday a new suspect was arrested - and somehow his name, age, nationality,...
